Our German mills are located in the Peine region. Here, I-sections were rolled as early as 1876 and the Peine Beam (a parallel, flanged beam of worldwide renown) was developed, patented, and introduced to the public in 1914.
Today, of course, we use state-of-the-art equipment and processes that meet strict environmental requirements. The continuous universal medium mill (UMIT) operates in the 80 to 450 mm section depth range and up to a section width of 260 mm.The heavy section mill (STS) is used to produce larger sectional products up to a web depth of 1100 mm.
